Bring the work behind the promise.

AI Huntsville invites practitioners, researchers, educators, government and military professionals, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators to submit an abstract for the 2027 AI Symposium.

This year's symposium will explore how human expertise and agentic AI work together to build the intelligent enterprises of tomorrow. We are seeking practical, thoughtful sessions that connect AI concepts to the people, missions, organizations, and industries putting them to work.

Focus

Four lenses on intelligent enterprise.

Biotechnology

Aerospace and Defense

National Security and Law Enforcement

Advanced Manufacturing

Submission lens

Meet the audience where they are.

Real-world application or demonstrated results

An implemented or operational use case with lessons learned, measurable impact, or evidence of adoption.

Emerging concept or research

New research, developing technology, early-stage experimentation, or a forward-looking concept with clear relevance to the symposium audience.

Required: Select one category when submitting. This helps the review committee build a fair mix of demonstrated applications and emerging research across the four pillars.

Audience signal

Set the technical depth.

Submitters must identify the expected technical depth of their session. This indicator helps attendees choose sessions that match their background and learning goals; it is not a ranking of quality or importance.

Foundational

For attendees new to the topic or seeking an accessible overview. Minimal technical or specialized knowledge is assumed; emphasis is on concepts, context, use cases, implications, and lessons learned.

Applied

For practitioners, leaders, and technically informed attendees who want to understand how an approach works in practice. Some familiarity is helpful, but advanced technical expertise is not required.

Advanced

For experienced practitioners, researchers, engineers, or specialists. May examine technical design, algorithms, architecture, evaluation, security controls, research findings, or detailed tradeoffs.

State any specific prerequisites, tools, technologies, standards, or domain knowledge attendees should understand in advance.

Proposal quality

Bring substance, not just polish.

  • 01

Connect human judgment, expertise, or organizational practice with AI capabilities, including agentic AI where relevant.

  • 02

Address a meaningful challenge, opportunity, or lesson within one or more symposium pillars.

  • 03

Offer specific insight that attendees can understand, evaluate, or apply.

  • 04

Be grounded in experience, research, evidence, or a clearly articulated emerging approach.

  • 05

Avoid purely promotional content. Product or service examples may be included when they support substantive lessons and practical value.

Possible directions

What could you explore?

  • 01

AI-enabled discovery, experimentation, and scientific workflows

  • 02

AI adoption in aerospace, defense, space, and mission operations

  • 03

Responsible AI for national security, intelligence, public safety, and law enforcement

  • 04

Intelligent factories, supply chains, robotics, and advanced manufacturing

  • 05

Human-agent collaboration and the redesign of work

  • 06

Governance, assurance, safety, privacy, security, and trust

  • 07

Workforce development, education, and organizational readiness

  • 08

Lessons from deploying AI in complex, regulated, or high-consequence environments

Shape

Make it useful. Make it yours.
